About G1 Nutrition

G-1 Nutrition is a Lancashire weight management service run by Pharmalogic Chemist, a GPhC registered pharmacy in Bamber Bridge on the southern edge of Preston. Its pitch is that medication alone is not the whole answer, so alongside prescribing it sells its own supplement range and publishes nutrition, activity and habit guidance, with a members' group it calls the Fuel and Flow Club.

The route in is a short online health questionnaire followed by a video consultation, after which a registered clinician decides whether weight loss medication is appropriate. Approved orders are dispensed by the pharmacy and delivered free anywhere in the UK. Its published eligibility threshold is a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 or above alongside a condition such as type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure. People already treated elsewhere can transfer, but a full assessment is still required before a prescription is issued.

One thing the site does not state is which branded medicines it dispenses. Its pages refer to GLP-1 weight loss medication in general terms, and its published patient reviews name a different brand. If you are set on a particular brand, raise it during the video consultation before you pay.
